Corporate culture
Corporate behavior is, in the view of Jenoptik, not limited to implementing business targets; its corporate culture is also essential to the company’s success.

Our strategy: More Light
“More Light” – we gave life to our new strategy under this motto. In the future, we want to concentrate more on our core skills and further develop Jenoptik so it becomes a focused photonics group that creates enthusiasm in its employees.
The Jenoptik management announced the new Agenda 2025 “More Value” at the 2021 Capital Markets Day. Jenoptik wants to focus more strongly on the three high-growth markets – semiconductors/electronics, life science/medical technology, and smart mobility. Learn more

Our responsibility
Corporate behavior is, in the view of Jenoptik, not limited to implementing business targets; its obligations to society and the environment are also essential to the company’s success.
Employees: The know-how and experience of our employees, their commitment and bond to the company – we consider these to be important values.
Society: Assisting young people through science and training as well as in social projects – that is at the heart of our social commitment. Since its founding, Jenoptik has also been committed to art and culture.
Environmental protection: Environmental management is a strong part of our corporate conduct.

Training and science
Well-trained experts as well as research and development enable Jenoptik as a high-tech company to assume a top economic position. For this reason, we assist young people with their training and encourage them to be aware of interdisciplinary work, international exchange and social skills.
For abilities like creativity, team skills, and a sense of values are just as important as good technical training at work.

Art and culture
Jenoptik is a member of a culture-sponsoring work group that operates throughout Germany. In connection with our business activities, light, optics and perception are at the center of our promotion of culture.
Jenoptik’s own conception and organization of visual arts projects form the core of art management. Jenoptik’s art collection, which has existed since 1994, comprises 400 works; about two thirds of them set the atmosphere in the offices of our employees.
Social responsibility
We support associations and institutions with financial and material help.
